Twice the size of a normal feeder, This feeder is made from galvanized metal and can hold 40kg of wheat or pellets. It is possible to hang the feeder although care mush be taken. Feed trough circumference is 160cm. The feeder is suitable for adult pheasants, partridges or ducks. A lid or rainguard (1377) can be supplied.

Day length has an important bearing on a hen`s egg laying cycle. As the days shorten the number of eggs reduce until laying may cease. . Powered by any 12 volt battery or power supply rated to at least 5OOmA, the Rooster Booster monitors the 24–hour natural pattern of light and darkness, to provide artificial light within a period of 16 hours, (bringing hens in line with our day), followed by eight hours of darkness.

Rooster Booster Fluorescent – a unit with an 8 watt fluorescent light for larger poultry houses and suggested for our 20x8 Ledbury House. This timer will control up to 5 lamps of either standard or fluorescent type. One 8–watt fluorescent lamp, (equivalent to 25–watts normal lamp) will provide enough light for up to 210 laying hens.

This automatic control device can be used on a henhouse to raise popholes. Using the timer, it is possible to open and to close the sliding gate according to the time setting or to open it according to the time setting . The VSB unit is suitable for outside installation.
