The Grower House
NFP make a wide range of Grower Houses for table bird production.
A Grower House needs to be on skids for easy moving, strongly constructed out of quality materials and functional. Solid floors are advised through the house, although other flooring options are available if preferred. There must be enough height to enable catching up, but also the buildings do not need to be too tall so they get cold.
A rule of thumb space allowance is 1 sq ft per bird up to 18 weeks, but this may be varied upon the production regime you are following. All our buildings are purpose made to your requirements, and minor alterations such as pophole sizes, stable doors etc are usually incorporated into the basic price. Many of the illustrations and photographs here are of buildings made to customers exact requirements.
