NFP Portable Brooder and Free Range Grower Systems

 

For Table Birds, Ducklings, Pheasants and Laying Bird production

The Brooder House will take 650 chicks, with the birds being transferred when they are off heat to the two grower sheds. A full cycle would require possible 2 brooders and 8 grower units and multiples of this depending on the output required. The buildings are constructed identically so they can be used for any purpose and this gives a uniform look to the range of buildings.

We can arrange a visit to an organic farm on the outskirts of Bristol if prospective purchasers wish to view these buildings in use.

20ft x 12ft Ledbury Grower /Brooder House.

Built to the following specification and design – delivered for self assembly.

  • 16mm nominal ptg shiplap cladding on 50x38mm sawn framework
  • Floors of 18mm CDX plywood on 75mmx38mm frame (4ft sections)
  • Polycoated steel roof on suitable roof truss with 50x38mm timber purlins(green roof sheet colour)
  • End sections to have 2 adjustable timber sliding shutters on chains approx 24” wide x 18” deep. Single access door to center
  • Side walls (2 x 10ft x 4ft high) to have 2 adjustable timber sliding shutters on chains approx 24” wide x 18” deep – one central per panel
  • 500mm x 400mm side sliding Popholes to be at each corner of the house approx 500mm in from edge to allow fitting of curved white hardboard in corners of house.
  • On 4 tanalised 150x75mm skids with tow hooks each end
  • 20x12ft lining and insulation including roof
  • Supplied fully tanalised

    • (doors popholes and shutters not lined)

    Brooder House Hardening Veranda.

    Clad to lower 18” with t and g shiplap. 1” wire netting above. Roof to fit under eaves and be of similar material. Single access door in side. Please note, The roof on this veranda will slope from 4ft approx to 3ft 6ins at lowest point. The Veranda is normally supplied with 2 popholes in the front with a side access door (The ones illustrated were specials)

    Grower house Veranda has popholes for ranging. Unit size 8ft wide x 10ft long

    Water Units.

    Comprising Osma Header Tank, Insulation pack and cover, 12mm Plastic water pipe to run 20ft approx with necessary  stop cock , connectors and surface clips.    This price also includes support shelf and metal brackets.   £105.00
