Front View of Standard Front Opening Rollaway Nest – can be made in any size up to 48” wide. The rollaway nest is fitted into the poultry house usually underneath some weatherproof covering.

This nestbox can also be made with a top opening lid - see below

The rollaway uses a 3” slope in 16”, the timber under the nest is not included. This is the area used by the birds with a central division. The two nest apertures measure approx 22” wide x 10” deep

The nest with the Astroturf pad fitted. This curls up in the egg collecting area to cushion the eggs

Rollaways can be made with larger egg collection/storage area if required. The rollaway illustrated above is the standard unit.
