Turkeys, Geese, Ducks & Guinea Fowl
We will adapt any of our buildings for any purpose, As these are specific customer requirements we indicate the normal alterations below:
Turkey - Alter stocking Density - Larger 24" deep nestboxes - possibly large automatic rollaway nests. Pophole size increases or use of split door. Consider Tama Slat Floor.
Geese - As above, normally more space allowed as Geese floor nest - Increase of building height for easy egg picking. If house is to be used for natural incubation consider galvanised mesh floor so eggs and nest benefit from ground dampness. Commercial rearers should look at the specific Grower/ Rearing House.
Ducks - Include possible perching for some breeds, nestboxes at ground level in some cases. Possible use of Tama Slat Floor. Possible wider popholes for easy access.
Guinea Fowl - Use of house and run (larger version of the Ark and Run). Roosting of adult birds. Standard height nestboxes.
